I am glad you asked. This is how it is. God made man. Man sinned and was separated from and God and became a sinner. Sin is a corruption in a man’s spirit. A man is made of spirit (you), soul (life) and body. When a man dies his soul or life ends and body and spirit is separated. The body as we all know decomposes but the spirit is immortal. Now if we are are corrupted we go to hell otherwise the place we can be is heaven with God. Since the first man sinned we inherited his corruption which is our nature to sin. We are all sinful and we cannot live a pure life no matter how hard we try. Therefore we are all on our way to hell. That is the problem. What is the solution?

Since we have a sin nature we cannot know or understand God with our own knowledge. There is only one way of knowing him and that is if He reveals himself to us. And there is only one way to escape hell and reach heaven. That is God Himself makes a provision for us because we are now helpless in this matter.

The provision that God made was this that He came to this world in human form as Jesus Christ and suffered and died for us. Thus taking our punishment on him and making us free of corruption and thus eligible for heaven. Now by accepting this provision we can escape hell and spend eternity with God.

Christianity in true sense is not a religion. By this I mean that those denominations that make it look like a religion are not in true sense Christians. Christianity is God’s provision for our salvation. If I ask someone to become a Christian I would not ask him to be baptized, nor would I ask him to join any church, nor is he required to go around and declare that he has converted. Just accept Jesus as his personal savior and read the Bible to know Lord Jesus more, period.

No-one knows, and don’t settle for anything that cannot be proved with regards to the afterlife.

What the loonybird means, is according to HER, she knows heaven exists (which she doesn’t), and you can only go there if you’re a christian…

Does ‘what happen to you after death’ depend on what you believe? No.

…you don’t know that, so stop LYING… sinner…

Those places do exist and every person will go to one of those places after death weather he believes in the existence of those places or not.

Stop stating your BELIEFS as factual… christian doppelgänger… you don’t KNOW anything about what happens after death.

I guess we wont know til we get there,,, but if I die first I will let you all know… okay .. haha just kiddin

Well I guess it depends on what you believe. either you’ll go to heaven or hell. And if you don’t believe in heaven or hell then you’re bug food

your body still developes a lot. your hair grows still and your fingernails mostly evrything grows for a while I guess. I really don’t know how long your body grows and until it stops doing all that. Google it maybe that helps!!!

Your body stays in the ground and basically rots while your spirit lives on. It’s a very simple transition almost like stepping into another room. Your spirit goes to spirit prison or paradise based on a prejudgment. your spirit will continue there until the second coming of Christ where you will be resurrected, your body will be reunited with your spirit and the final judgment will take place.

That’s the watered down version. I don’t know how spiritual you are, but I do hope this helps. I can promise you that there is life after this, and there will be a time when you will be reunited with those that you’ve lost, both friends and family.

this question is just going to…cause yet another clash between religions/beliefs. so the answer depends on who you ask. like…myself…I am a christian. I believe when I die I will go to heaven or hell.

“Depends on what you believe”. Many times in this post I have seen this. Well what depends on what you believe? Does ‘what happen to you after death’ depend on what you believe? No.

After death the spirit (the person) will be continue to live as vinni_viddi_vicci said. But weather it goes to Heaven or Hell depends on weather the person has accepted God’s provision for salvation.

Now comes the important part. Weather a person goes to Heaven or Hell does not depend on weather he believes in Heaven and Hell. Those places do exist and every person will go to one of those places after death weather he believes in the existence of those places or not.
