okay well im 17 I dropped out of high school last year im attending adult school prepearing to get my GED the reason I dropped out was because of depression im a lil better now I suppose but I feel so lonely I isolate myself from everyone I dont talk to any of my friends for the past months... I only find some happiness when I do my make up and hair everymorning my girl cousins are so mean there always going out and stuff while im just stuck in the house I really dont have any self esteem or confidence I guess thats why guys dont ask me out but then my family says im really pretty??
Have you talked to a therapists. If that is not possible, perhaps it will help to calm down by doing some things you enjoy even if it is some small activity. This may help you to clear your head so you can decide if you need to talk to a professional. Also, many towns have hotlines you can call to just talk to people who might be able to point you in the right direction. You may want to fing out if there is something like a crisis hotline number or something similar where people can make suggestions how to get help.
I think that the only way to get confidence and help your self esteem is to go out and meet new people... Don't give up life because of a lil' mistake.. I thing you'll be fine and so dress all up and go out there with your cousins. you can't blame them that they wan't to go out. they can't give up their life because you did..so maybe ask if you can go with them and have fun and don't worry about other people everybody has their strengths and weaknesses.
