What are better ways to exercise?

30 minutes of cardio a day (like running NONSTOP up and down stairs, or on a treadmill or just running) and go buy some five or ten pound weights and do things like lunges and bicep curls with them.
dancing, even you if arent so great. Believe me I suck but I just put on some music like britney spears,daft punk, etc and just dance alone…because everyone is so much better when they dance alone :D plus it burns loads, as long as you are actually dancing…not just stepping for side to side. Just jump crazy. Crazy is the key word here. Hahaha. I’m so lame. Yeh but an hour a day should really help. And loooads of walking. And other exercises like 400 situps, 100 squats, 200 starjumps morning and night. Should help. Running and other cardio is great too. Hoped that helped.
I agree with sarahhh. Sometimes cardio is enough for me. But you know how people say that running helps your stomach area? Not for me! I run 3 miles per day and I have strong legs but a not so great looking stomach area. I have to do a lot of situps to be able to wear a bikini. Just experiment with different excercises. Situps work really well and so does running up and down stairs.
The best exercise is one you actually enjoy enough to keep doing it. If you force yourself to go to the gym and run on the treadmill and hate it than it is very unlikely you will keep doing this for years.
Some people love to swim, others like to jog, some can’t get enough tennis or golf. Any activity you love will be your best activity. My favorite activity is cycling.
From a result point of view the best exercise is resistance training. With an intense program you will build lean body mass, increase your metabolism, and burn calories. If you don’t like lifting weights you might be able to motivate yourself to keep going when you see results.
Losing weight shouldn’t be easy if you want it to last. Go to a gym and talk with a professional who can point out to you what exercise routine will work best for your body type. Everyone is different. For me, running and doing cardio is enough. For other, it may be very different. Lifting is a good way to get muscle, but a lot of people don’t know their strength and may push themselves too hard, resulting in an injury. So yeah.. talk with a specialist.
