Unwanted Eating Disorder....help Me.

when I was a freshman in high school, I was diagnosed with an eating disorder not otherwise specified (EDNOS) now im junior, about to be a senior, and I cant seem to get over it. I have gained back about 15 or 20 punds since the diagnosis and I think im the fattest person in the world. I try sooo hard to love myself and eat right and be active, but it all turns into me thinking that I fat and then ill stop eating for a week or two…then I realize that im hurting myself so I start eating right again….it goes on and on..its a neverending cycle. I just want to break free from it and be happy. can anyone help me?

Perhaps if you can think of ways to be happy and concentrate on being happy instead of how and what and why you are eating that might help? Forget about everything else and do the things that make you feel good about yourself. If you start with making yourself feel happy then everything else might fall into place?

exercise more. what i find helps is counting the number of calories i take in each day-look at the back of the packets of things you eat normally and see how many calories they contain. can u find a healthier alternative? also, do after school activities- walk, swim ANYTHING, to distract yourself from food. then afterwards, u can hav a normal meal feelin good about urself! i think its somethin like 7000 calories(also known as kilocalories) is the equivelent of a pound of fat- but u may wanna check up on that.

If you call yourself the fattest person in the world then guess what you already loss b/c your already tricked yourself into believing you cant look the way you want to look. There’s only 2 D’S you need to remember to overcome this illness. The Desire to look how you want to look, and the discpline to get you there. I understand that the youth at your school aren’t always as supportive. I suggest that you do daily excersise everyday and eat 3 times a day and only 3 times a day. An tonight after you finish reading this i challenge you to look in the mirror and say im the baddest shorty on the block. NO SCREAM IT!!!!!! Because the change must start within before anybody else can notice.
