Is this an eating disorder?

i feel hungry but when i sit down and start to eat i feel disgusting and sick. like i’m gonna throw up. i despise restaurants because i feel like everyone is watching me eat. help please /:

If there are no physical causes to this sickness then, yes it might be. You should tell a doctor about it. They can help you find the right treatment.

No one on here is able to diagnose an eating disorder. 2. Anyone on here who has the credentials to diagnose an eating disorder would NEVER do it online. 3. You have not provided any information that would be helpful in the diagnosis. Go see a doctor and get help if you’re feeling sick. It is generally best to rule out medical problems before diagnosing mental ones anyways.

Agreed. The only useful advice (and b.t.w. the best advice) that this board can offer to most medical questions is “Please go and ask your doctor/ show it to your doctor.”. At least to everything that sounds more dangerous than a moderate sunburn or a broken fingernail. But we can give mental support and comfort as soon as ppl are diagnosed & treated professionally.
