17 & 16 have a baby who has the rights to take the baby home

Answer #1

The Mother of the baby reguadless of age.

Answer #2

Whoever has the better home for the baby. The state investigates each parent and sees who can provide a better home and invierment for the baby. And then the parent who has the better home for the baby, takes the baby home, adn can decide wheather to give the other parent joint custody. And also the baby has to go to the more responsible parent. So that it can have all the food and diapers and stuff that it is going to need.

Answer #3

Dear sassy14987, I am not sure of American law but in Canada if the mother is living at her parents and is welcome back after the birth she will take the baby there making her parents responsible for her and the baby till she is 18 or moves out. This of course depends on if she has nothing from the courts saying she is an unfit mother. If the father is living with his parents, his parents now are responsible for helping with the baby till he is 18 or till he moves from his parents home then making him responsible. Unless there is a court order mom gets to take the baby home. Sue…good luck
