What am I suppose to do now?
My dads leaving. I’m not really looking for sympathy, how will I take care of my mom? She works in cleaning apartments and she doesn’t make much money. I can get a job but even with that it won’t be enough. Where can I find help? [btw we dont really have family besides my brother.]
Well, your mother will have to make sure your dad pays child support to help with raising you.
Are you in the u.s? There are TONS of programs for single moms that offer support, as well as court orders that willl require your dad to pay childsupport. Dont ever be ashamed to ask for help from the government when you really need it, thats what its there for.
What do I do about my mom? she said she’ll do everything in her power so I don’t miss him. but I think it’s her that needs the emotional support.
Be strong and suportive. If she needs a shoulder to lean on (or cry on) be there but don’t get upset if she doesn’t.
