I deal with this all the time. I lost like 40 pounds eating healthy and excersising and people started to think I was anorexic and tell me to put on weight. I eventually did, and then turned to bulimia. I am still dealing with this bingeing problem now and so I can never control my sugar cravings. I eat like a guy too!!! :( its so hard now because I really want to get control and just stop eating, but I guess its harder going back to being the healthy person I used to be knowing how much effort it takes. I think its so lame how people tell you to lose weight when you are heavier, but when youre really skinny and eating healthy they tell you to gain weight…its really hypocritical. anyways im ranting, but I just wanted to say I can relate, and that it is really hard to deal with, but the best thing I can think of is just to ask yourself, “what exactly am I worth?”. “is this piece of cake going to make me happy? does my body really need this? could I get by with just an apple or something that will give my body natural satisfaction? “

well hope I was good help. good luck :)

Well, you can’t ALWAYS give in, but if you deny your cravings, then you will end up bingeing later on. Since you have been bulimic, you know how that hurts you, and that you eat a LOT of bad foods, and then just throw it up. Well, since those days are over, you have to put ALL of that out of your mind, and focus on good things, or you might end up spiraling down that black hole again. Whenever you have a craving, try eating some fruit. Because it’s sweet, that may take the focus off of the unhealthy food, and satisfy your sweet tooth. Like I said, every week or so, you can indulge in a peice of chocolate, but don’t say no every time, or you may overeat. Try exercising too. It really does help. Every time you are really bored, try going for a walk, because sometimes, we eat and crave out of being bored. I’m glad you saw the error of an eating disorder, and that you got out of it before it’s too late, because some of us aren’t as fortunate. I lost a really good friend to anorexia. It was very sad, and it’s always nice to hear when girls wise up these days Good luck, and I wish you only the best. <3jaymie (if you ever need to talk, I am here along with many others)
