Short Love Poem tell me what you think

Only when old feelings start to resurface do we stop and think why did we ever let it go. Only when old feelings resurface do we really wonder how did we ever let it go. The answer is simple we don’t take it seriously when we have until we’ve lost it. Then when it comes back we cherish it forever.

-p.s even tho it’s obvious I’m still a beginner at poetry-

Honestly for a beginner its most excelent. And I would say dont chage anything now. Wait a few weeks, months, years. Then look back upon your work. See if it has changed, and definately cherish it as the love that has returned. Dont loose it for sure.
