Rose Petals

Don’t leave me alone Like a single rose growing among dead weeds Solitary,yet still full of hope I glance to find that I’m still alive,this I know,because nothing has changed Although I have reached for the sun as far as I can It feels as if I have not fully bloomed

But as I grow to wither to my fullest potential,I will find that I’ve lived Seconds,minutes,hours,days,years.. I had it all,and now I wait and wilt..I’ll wither away.. I had seconds,minutes,hours,days,and years.. I never lived them,only waited for them Now just like I wanted,I’m waiting again except this time for nothing I’m waiting to die.
