How to make my son behave all of the time?

My son is 4 years old, and in a 4yo pre-k program. he’s an only child , but sometimes has to share the spot light with other kids that im babysitting. he is always getting into trouble because he jsut wont sit down, be quiet, listen to the teacher, and do what he is supposed to do, and when ‘rest time’ rolls around, all hell breaks loose. I dont know what to do, I’ve tried everything I can think of. he isn’t nearly this bad at home, sometimes he doesn’t want to listen to me, but with a little conviencing, he cooperates. im really at a loss here, I dont know how to make him behave, I have had to almost beg his teacher to let him stay in the program on a few different ocasions. please help!!! I just want the absolute best for him

when by rbother was that age he was exactly the same he could never sit still or be quiet he was always in to things he shouldnt be etc, a behavioural specalist came out to him in the school and studyed him and did some activities with him, I suggest you take your son to the doctors as miomiomio he might have add or adhd this can be controled by ritanlin wich my brother was on hes now 16 nrly 17 and hess off the ritalin and hes learnd how to control his adhd but he still can NEVER!! sit still!! lol he sits down for 5 mins then hes up hes jumpina round danceing and in an out of every room then he sits down an this goes on alll day and nite!! lol so yer take your child to the doctors and ask him/her about it good luck x

maybe his teacher is the problem. if he’s not that bad at home, she probably lost his respect somewhere. He’s four, he is going to have a lot of energy. Have any other adults complained? I wouldn’t jump on the ADD wagon until it’s proven to be a bigger problem. Medicating four year olds is pretty serious stuff. Expecting a kid to sit still with his little hands in his indian style lap is unreasonable, and in my opinion abuse.

if he listens give him a reward if he doesnt punish him
