people using fau for no reason?

Maybe they don’t want to seem so clueless on their own profile. I think it’d be pretty ridiculous to set a rule about it, because it’s not a big deal.

Besides, what may not seem private you you can very well be private and personal to them.

who cares? maybe its a big deal to them, maybe they dont want you to know all about them so they set their questions to fau, its not a big deal, I agree with jadis

I mark some fau because I don’t want the question on my profile.. It’ll be nothing important.. like “what should I name my puppy?’’ but I just don’t want it on my profile haha

When they start realizing that a lot of us don’t bother reading and answering “fau” questions, they will realize that they are reducing the number of answers that they could be receiving.

Also, since there is such a load of deserving questions, it speeds things up by simply skimming over all the “fau” questions.

If they were smart, they’d go ahead and ask their question using their user name then, after receiving sufficient quality answers, then go back and mark their questions anonymous.

Beleive me Shae, I wish it was. However there isn’t really a way to enforce that.
