Why do people use FunAdvice and not Google?

Just a question I thought I would ask, no hate towards FunAdvice because I love it XD!

Answer #1

Maybe they have Google their question/query first and asked on here after they couldn’t fin d the answer? Plus I use this site for peoples opinions on the questions I ask, on Google you don’t get this, it’s just a straight forward answer and it is not varied :)

Answer #2

Because its more personalized

Answer #3

Hmm, good answer:3 I think the same though, Google is great and pretty much every time you search, and if you search hard enough you will get an answer, but not always honest, or not always an opinion!

Answer #4

That’s true:)

Answer #5

It’s more personal plus, google wouldn’t function without sites like these.

Answer #6

Usually I will Google my question first, but here I’m getting more opinions which helps a lot more a lot of the time.

Answer #7

I like personalized answers, and if I want to inquire more on a subject I can talk to the person in more detail. I google stuff if I want factual information rather then personal opinions.

Answer #8

Plus Google have the word plus on it

Answer #9

What?

Answer #10

Fair point…

Answer #11

On here I get good answers unlike when you google something click on a link to yahoo or wiki answers and get trolls commenting. Plus I know and trust a lot of people on here to give me honest/helpful answers.

Answer #12

More personal, people can share their own experience an funadvice is a social site too

Answer #13

Some answers are harder to find on Google, ‘cause it has so many results. So it’s easier to ask the question here. Strangely, I rarely ask questions here hahah I use Google mostly.

Answer #14

you get advice from different real people
