How to tell my parents about my 21 year old boyfriend?

I’m a 15 year old sophomore and I met my boyfriend online. He lives miles away from me but I’ve seen him on skype and talked to him. He has a job and has good friends. He is nice and caring and I love hearing his voice, it makes me so happy to hear him. He isn’t with me for sex, I know that for a fact and he cares about me for me. Everything is fine with us and to be completely honest, I think I might love him. The only problem is that he’s 21 and if my parents knew, they would be furious. My parents and I have a really good bond. They have a lot of trust and respect in me for what I do and I respect them back. They expect me to get good grades, which I do and they expect me to try hard in my sports, which I do. I feel like if I tell them about him, it would shatter all of their trust in me. I don’t know if I should continue being his girlfriend in secret or telling them and risking their love and respect.

Honestly this is a toughy, but have you ever thought about why he can’t get a girlfriend his own age? If he’s 21 and is as good as a person as you say he is, why is he dating a 15 year old ..online..( not saying its a bad thing, I did something similar last year.. but I learned from it ). I don’t think your parents would approve of this, because I know my parents would NEVER. Give it some more time, and if you really decide that.. well.. its something you want, then i guess you should tell them. Remember that your parents know best usually. Good luck hun ):
