one of my parents read my mail

one of my parents invaded my privacy and went through my yahoo mail! she know’s everything I never wanted her to know! worst is that I don’t think she knows that I know! what should I do?

Answer #1

first of all, change your password, and make sure you always log off when your done. I can’t give you much more advice on what she figured out. why don’t you funmail me the details? you prob don’t want to tell everyone.

Answer #2

A parent doing their job will look after the best interests of their minor children - that includes keeping them safe from threats they may not even realize - you’ll be there one day.

Answer #3

well if its a secretive sin..this will be a learning experiences to change…but if this is about you, I understand, my mother always tell me that she will always check my “about me” stuff in my account(not this one)…its ok but what I hate is when she coment about my spelling, how I should right, how…everything…its disturbing my privacy, but in your case yo should delete all of it and pretend that nothing ever hapen and promise yourself that you will change for the better…

Answer #4

I would be livid! My friends aren’t even allowed to have their own email addresses! I have to send everything through their mommy. How stupid! As to what you should do, just either delete the emails, or set up another email account w/ another email provider, and forward all of those emails to that one, and then delete the ones in your yahoo account. It would take me a long time to do that with mine, cause I’ve got over 1000, almost 1100, but it is worth it. THEN, you act like nothing ever happened.

Answer #5

How do you know that she did it? That’s rude of her to an extent, yes, but as a parent she may be worried what her child is doing on the internet. With all the internet creeps you hear about these days she was probably checking that you are not putting yourself in any danger. But she went behind your back and invaded your privacy which is wrong. You might want to talk to her about it? Or you can just leave it. Is there any way you can put a password on it so she can’t do it again?

Answer #6

Now look, you will not believe this until you try it BUT THIS WORKS!!

If your friend sends you an e-mail that you do not want ANYONE BUT YOURSELF to read,

Tell them to

  Type the mail

then go to the top and click on "EDIT"

from that drop down menu click on “select all”

     The e-mail will be high-lighted"

Now click on the highlighted e-mail

In the new drop down menu click on "font"

In "color" on the new menu change the color of the font to "WHITE"

Now when you get any new e-mails that are blank (the font will be the same color as the background) just go to the top menu and click on

         "EDIT" THEN "SELECT ALL"

and the message will be in high lites where only you can read it .
