Can I get married anywhere with only one parental signature?

I am only 17 but me and my fiance are ready to get married. The only problem is I am in state custody and my father won’t sign for me to get married, and in florida you need both parents’ signatures to get married. Is there any state that I would be able to get married in with only one parent’s signature??

Wait, when you are 25 and you see the giant mistakes you almost made or the ones you did make, then you realize that maybe your parents are looking out for your best interest.

Seriously wait. Whats the difference?

Answer #2

You are so young right now and you wil change in who you are. If you want to get married now why not wait a year until you are legal. Then you wil know for sure you guys will work. I married kind of young at 23 and it hasn’t been easy but I wouldn’t change a minute.

I was 17 and wanted to get married. My bf at the time told I was way to young and he didn’t want me to be a married woman. He said I should enjoy my youth,he wanted to. So we waited until I was 23 to wedd.I always tell him if we wouldn’t have waited we wouldn’t have made it. It’s hard being married at a young age.Live alittle and enjoy one other. We stayed together not because we had to we wanted to married or not.
