Will leg hair grow slower if you wait to shave it?

Hey I’m 13 I have not started my period yet, thank god, and my mom wont let me shave my legs until I have it because she says the hair will grow slower if you wait but I’m in eighth grade and its akward. Is it true?

HUNY ITS BETTER IF you don’t SHAVE AND WAIT TILL you HAVE your PERIOD THEY WILL GROW SLOWER AND PLUS THEY WONT GET THAT THIK IF you WAIT …SO LISTEN TO your MOM AND AT school JUX ME LIKE I AND UNIQUE SO don’t MESS WIT ME

Then shave them on your own - she cant stop you from shaving your legs, that’s kind of extreme.

Not true - I started shaving my legs when I started my period (I was 11!) and my hair still grew rapidly. It’s true that the more you shave your legs the faster and thicker it’ll come in - but so what, you’ll have to start eventually.
