If someone's hair grows faster does that mean that they are dying faster?

My friend came up with some question that I thought was pretty funny if you think about it. Since hair is just dead cells, if someone’s hair grows faster, does that mean that they are also dieing faster? Im pretty sure it doesnt mean that but I just thought it was a good question to ask

Answer #1

the speed of hair growth can be determined by a few different factors. one is the excess of proteins in your body and two is when you are sick your hair is going to grow faster because, your body is in a fight with germs and viruses, so all the dead microorganisms become hair cells, quite fascinating

Answer #2

Answer #3

Answer #4
