Need your help Buddhists!!

Can someone please give me some insight to Buddhism? I find it to be very interesting. Truth be told- I’ve chosen to do a paper on Buddhism and would like some insight from a follower of Buddhism.

Buddhism is basically a philosophical religion…there is no God in Buddhism, and Buddha (Siddartha Guatama) was essentially a teacher of Buddhism.

The basic purpose of Buddhism is to end suffering by attaining enlightenment. There are paths in which this is done and it consists mainly of patient acceptance and loving kindness.
