My dad is just too strict

I got a new phone, and I was just taking pictures of myself with it. And all the pics were innocent. Not slutty at all!!! I promise. It was just my face, and me flashing peace signs and everything else. And then I was shocked that he just went in my room and said he doesn’t want me to take pics of myself. He was looking at my pictures. He thinks my pics are flirty. I hate it!!! I just dont get it. What the hell is wrong with me taking pictures of myself?! This sux! So I can’t take pictures of myself??? Well that’s just nice. I feel so frustrated! And angry!!!

Your Dad just wants to ensure you’re safe - it’s his job to look after your best interests - understand where you’re coming from but it’s not an unreasonable request, he cares, many,mnay, don’t - be Thankful.

Try standing up for yourself. Not in a rude way. just tell your dad that if he wants you to not hide things from you and be honest and open with him then he should trust you and have some faith in the way he raised you to know that you won’t do hurtful and harmful things…

I had to fight for my rights and things are a lot better..
