Should I tell my mom that my dad used to rape me?

Since mothers are usually given the upper hand in child custody battles I’m going to take an educated guess here and assume that your mum was deemed unfit to take care of you by the courts? So are you on good terms with her or not? If you are and you feel that by telling her she can help you then definitely tell her. If you’re not then tell someone else you trust and they will do all they can to make your dad pay. Tell a teacher, close friend - anyone that you feel you can trust. Just please do it as soon as possible. Does he still do it? You need to talk to someone about this. Please tell someone quickly. I don’t like hearing about people in this position :( and the longer you leave it the worse it could get.. I don’t know. Please please please let someone know

definetly.and if she doesn’t believe you than thats her problem.you tell somebody else.this happened to me , but it was somebody else in my family.you shouldnt have to live with that.a physciatrist could help you talk things over.

I’m so sorry. You definitely should tell her or an aurthority figure. Perhaps there is a counselor at school, a relative or even parents of close friend you could talk to. You should not be staying with your father. If you cannot live with your mother, hopefully there is some grandparents, aunt or someone safe you can stay with. Please do not stay in this horrible situation, please tell an adult you trust. If needed go to the police station.

Absolutely! That is something that your mom needs to know. And it would get a lot of stress off of your shoulders if you told her.

yes most defniitely..what he did is not right and you have GOT to let her know…. Taylor Jo Doherty was molested at 9 and told her mom at age 14 and went into clinical mild depression and ended up taking her life…..this needs to not happen anymore so for future help you should tell
