how do I tell my dad I wanna live w my mom for the summer???
so me my mom and sister snuck out in nov. of 07 and left my dad and us 3 stayed in OKC for the summer whn they split and now me and my sis are bac livin w my dad in memphis and my mom is alone in OKC and im worried about her because shes not answering her phone and we usually talk everyday and its allready hard to talk to my dad about my mom cause it doesnt listen also she is suposed to come bac to memphis to get me the day after schools out but she is afraid my dads side of the family will judge her for leaving my dad and really she only listens to my opinion but when I do talk to her she just says o well so what im trying to ask is how can I get my dad to let me stay with my mom for the summer and my other question is how can I get my mom to come and get me w/o her thinking my dads family will judge I need help I miss my mom sooo much!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Well, just tell your dad you love him, but that you also love your mom, and since you’ve been living with him, you’d like to spend time with her over the summer.
Don’t worry about all the judging. That’s going to happen. If your dad loves you and is reasonable, he’ll understand your desire to have a relationship with your mom.
