Minimum calories needed for Teens?

What’s the minimum calories needed for a thirteen year old girl that’s tall (In between 5’10-5’11) to lose weight? My friend has been eating like 500 calories and is trying to lose weight. I don’t think that’s healthy, right?

Your ‘friend’ is on the path to making herself/hiself seriously ill.

As I am sure you are already aware, 500 calories per day is nowhere near enough for ones body.
