What comes to mind when you hear on the news about people who "see" Jesus in random places?

I think we need to tell those people to stop messing with meds…(sort of speak…the !llegal ones!) I mean ffs(for fcs sake) I dont care how spiritual you may be…seeing a vision of any religious icon on a sandwich no less means that person is high or simply full of sh!t! Now tell me that person saw one in a park/church/home while getting all spiritual talking to god and see’s a so called vision, a sign…ok, that I can somewhat believe…weirder things have happened…but lets not kid ourselves here.
* When people start making a mockery or a joke like saying they have had a vision in/on a cheese sandwich…you need to know that you cant take them seriously! In fact I would be p!ssed sh!tless if someone tried to sell me that BS!

i think its just weird even though i am a christian i dont believe that you can hear god talking to you or do i believe you can feel him inside of you and let alone i think people are just crazy if they claim to “see” jesus in just random places but thats just in my opinion but i am a christian and i do go to church almost every wedsenday night at the hamilton dream center and i give a big shout out tho my youth pasture lena and the sound guy bert and his lovely wife anna and the youth advisors dave and darlene thanks lena,bert,anna,dave, and darlene you have made me believe in what true christianity really is keep up the good work

Sometimes it may just appear that way or sometimes people may be lucky and actually see Jesus. Of course me being a Christian, I beleive that people can sometimes see or hear Jesus. I’ve had experiences somewhat like this but a little less extreme (as being mine was at a church-not a cheese sandwitch because that’s just crazy!) However, a lot of times people also say things to get attention and become ‘famous’. And then some people are just crazy….so it depends on the situatuation I guess… I’d have to say that cheese sandwitch one is a fake though…

An incident about 3 or 4 years ago in my city. It’s supposed to be a monkey - there’s a monkey god in Chinese mythology, hence the flowers (and in other photos, bananas) placed around the tree.

Humans are naturally inclined to seek patterns. That’s why we see shapes and figures in clouds, trees, sandwiches, breadcrumbs, stars etc. etc. Doesn’t mean there’s any divinity involved though, it’s just your brain and eyes playing tricks on you.

When I hear things like this, it makes me think that these people are slightly crazy. I mean.. a sandwich? These kind of people are the reason some people think that religion is ridiculous. They make it all seem like BS when they go saying things like that.

I know that people can see angels even if they dont know it, but the people that see Jesus is strange places are probably thinking about him alot. Just like girls see hearts in random stuff all the time, its just your mind seeing what your thinking about.

seeing images of Jesus on cheese sandwiches etc is irrelevant. If u read Thessalonians 4 vs16-17, Jesus second coming will be a literal and global event. My advice to u bro dont be caught up in all these Jesus image ask God to help u to grow closer to him so that u will be with him in heaven.
