Is it unhealthy to drink lots of water?
Hi, About a year ago, maybe less, I taught myself how to drink large amounts of water and not feel full or sick. I did this quite easily, it only took me about a day to be able to have a few glasses of water within a minute. I think this is unhealthy? If it is, what should I do?

Water is definately good for you - there is a water to weight ratio you might want to research or maybe someone here knows it - and it is true, water in extreme excess can kill you…Take care !!
Water is good for you but dont have water too much because you are flushing out the good parts in your system Instead of the bad stuff. Drink about 3-4 glasses of water a day
I just meant when I have one glass of water, I drink it in one go, (depending how thirsty I am), I don’t drink lots of glasses of water for my own entertainment. This really helped though, Thanks!
Dear tatcat8, My first year in college I took water addictions…yes, people can be addicted to drinking large amounts of water. This practice can/have caused deaths. It is suggested to dring 8 glasses of water…keeping in mind you must take in to account the water in pop, foods etc. This is added as part of your water intake. Most people over do it thinking more the better. What happens is with too much water you flush out all the good stuff in your system. So when counting water remember the water in other stuff is added and do not exceed 8 cups daily. Sue…good luck
What should you do? Maybe not drink so much water? Water is sooo good for you, but not in such huge quantities.
