What are some workout tips and eating advice?

Hello I am 16 years old, I am 5/7 and I weight around 130. I want to lose at a minimum of 5 pounds, and get a tiny bit of mucsle tone mainly just noticible abs! Currently I work out at the gym with 20 minutes of cardio and then I lift weights. But I am not sure what foods would be good to eat. So I would like some work out tips, and eating advice!!

Hi,

Well first of all, watch what you eat. Portion control is the #1 thing diet programs teach you–limit your intake. In terms of what you eat, focus on lean proteins (lean meat like chicken breast, nothing fatty like fatty steaks), vegetables and whole grain starches. No white flour or white starch. Fruit also has a lot of sugar so I’d limit that too (and of course, sweets and cola). Then, add an exercise plan. 30 minutes of exercise 4X or more a week along with the diet will help you see results.
