How to stop snacking so much?

Snacking , I just cant seem to help myself. I have a few holidays coming up this year and would like to have the flatest tummy as possible , recently I have been eating all my meals but still seem to snack inbertween , I need some simple tips as iam a stundent and do not have time for complicated ideas’ :) HELP? x

I snack on grapes all the time. Very filling. They also helped me quit smoking.

I HAVE TWO GREAT ANSWERS!!

  1. Ok when you are about to snack try tapping diffrent parts of your body. count nackwards from ten (well tapping) then swich to humming a tune (well tapping) this method retrains your brain you can find it on the tv show from tlc “I Can Make You Thin” try googling it for better info about snacking

  2. Before you bite into your snack think to your self… Are I really hunngery. Also think a taste lasts only a second but felling good and looking good lasts forever

I think it’s okay to have snacks all during the day, just make them healhy ones.

Heres a few tips I’ve learned,used,and benefitted from;;

Water;;It keeps you hydrated,flushes your body out,and helps to keep you full throughout the day.I’ve also heard that drinking iced water first thing in the morning helps your metabolism kickstart.I’ve never tried it,but you can.

Apples;;Before lunch and dinner.They help fill you up so you dont eat as much food at meals.

Running/Jogging/Walking after school,just a half hour can help improve.Any excersize that makes you sweat is good for you,really.

When you/your parents go grocery shopping,pick up healthy snacks,like lowfat yogurt,anything high in fiber,fruits,veggies,and ALWAYS have a bag of salad on hand.

to be honest with you every time my mind says “get me a snack!” I immediatley do atleast 25 crunches=] so every time you ‘think’ you need a snack it reminds you to just go do crunchers,pushups,squats, or go play hoops or something…thats what I do!
