letter to the editor

hey guys could you please tell me how to write a lettter to the editor. Like how I should set it out and just how do I write one I need to know for my english exam and I need help from you!!

Answer #1

Letters to the Editor should be as brief as possible. My town’s newspaper limits them to no more than 225 words.

You might start it out with “Re: (subject)” then proceed to make your statement. Try not to wander from the subject. Double check your spelling and try to use proper grammar.

Also, if your editor requires, remember to include your name and a daytime phone number.

Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!
