Why is it that my friends are all receiving letters from colleges?

Truth is, colleges aren’t going to tell everybody to apply to their school (even if you have a good GPA). It’s important to step in yourself. Don’t wait for them to reach to you! Try to call different colleges, visit the campus, ask questions and fill in applications. College life is a really different and competitive from high school. The letters to your friends could be just advertising.
