Is it me but does anyone else think kids are way too advanced for their ages these days?

Yes. Definitely. Little kids are out drinking, doing we.ed, having sex, etc. Kids as young as 12, and sad thing is, it’s so common now. I hate it, I wish kids would just be kids and learn not to be so influenced by others and by what they see. Most of it, I believe, comes from the media and from their peers. They see it, think it’s cool and do it, sometimes, all their friends are doing it and they feel left out. Sometimes I really do wonder, where are the parents? I don’t agree with parents giving out birthcontrol when their children are really young. And I do believe more can be done to prevent a child from drinking and doing dr,ugs or any other of those things.

Yes i do agree with you on that more can be done. Parents should educate there kids more to prevent this from happening.

yeah. My mother doesn’t notice it about my sister, her daughter. my sister is friends with a girl who smokes and probably drinks, and even tried smoking cigs herself. she’s very mature for her age and is growing up faster then even i would like

The thing is, they are experimenting much more but they still are not mature or as educated. From what I noticed from my generation is that they can barely read and write. Besides, way back when…We use to get married at 13, and have children soon after. It’s not much different now other than there is easy access to dr*gs and alcohol. And we don’t don’t married at such a young age.

I have noticed it! I hate it. I wish I could be younger than 15, everyone says i’m not old buuuut it feels like it. I was at my cousins house and they used the hooked on words thing on my baby cousin and he talks like a ten year old. It’s not right and kinda creepy.

Well it’s gonna happen someday, so why not earlier than later? Doesn’t really matter in my opinion.

Yes it’s true one day there going to know but i dont see it fine when 11 yr old’s are talking about sex. Or when there drinking and smoking or hear children in grade school talking about which girl or boy they made out with. There called children for a reason in my opinion it is a big deal. Just saying..

yer, my cousin scares me how smart he is for his age. A baby using an ipad just seems too wierd to me
