I think it’s a very mature attitude to have when you can say “yeah, that’s your religion, I don’t agree with it, but I accept and respect your beliefs and opinions are different to mine.” Kudos to you!

Keep your open mind. There are too many people who judge others on soo little evidence. It’s really a large part of the reason this world is so screwed up sometimes.

It’s good that you don’t judge others because their beliefs are different than yours. I think you have every right to your own opinion!

Absolutely, you are right to have your own opinion…

God did not create you , for someone esle to tell you what to do.

That is his job.

He wants to lead you into all truth, how can he do that with someone esle doing the leading?

Trust yourself, and your inner man…

God gave each of us a conscience, … to lead us into truth.

He is faithful…

There are multitudes of very good people out there, that believe all kinds of things…

Just keep searching for the truth…

Completely and totally. I agree with many above posters here when I say that I think you are making a very mature decision. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and as long as you don’t try to make other people conform or flaunting it everywhere like it’s the oly thing that is right for people to do, I think that’s a good thing. (it’s the conforming where it gets bad. o.O) I believe that as long as you keep up with the “I have my opinions and you have yours” attitude, everything will work out in the end. Respect for people is really important, and it doesn’t depend on agreeing with them. I think you’ve got a good attitude.

You’re right to have your own opinion, but I’m curious why you think absurd beliefs deserve respect.
