I wanna be skinnier

I am 13 and about 4’11-5’ and weigh about 125 lb( so I am short and fat). I have ‘love handles” and big thighs. I play soccer and basketball but it doesn’t seem to help.I want to look good before school starts in 3 wk…help me!!???

Look at what you’re eating and try to stick to the healthy stuff. Consuming 1200 calories a day will make you lose weight while still allowing you enough calories to function and stay healthy. When you’re eating pastas (or sandwiches or anything you can think of to do this with) add as many vegetables as you can. Having 1 1/2 cups of pasta with a bunch of yummy toppings (mushrooms, chicken, tomatoes, onion, zucchini, peppers, whatever you like) is far more healthy, filling, and fulfilling than just plain pasta and sauce.

If you’re eating well and exercising as much as you do and still stay thick, you could see a doctor to have your thyroid checked. Considering your age it’s more than likely that you’re about due for a growth spurt, and as many of us do you may grow out a bit and then grow upwards (which will help lean you back out).

You are NOT FAT! Your at a really nice weight, I don’t see why you’d want to lose weight.
