How much weight will I loose if I cut down on the calories I eat?
what I have started to do is, drink a lot more water and Not have any snacks in between meals. How much on an estimate would I loose (in pounds) in a week?
It’s a safe range to only lose .5-1.5 pounds per week. I know it doesn’t seem like much but 1lb of fat is about a half-liter’s worth! Look at a half-liter bottle and imagine that much fat in your body. It’s actually quite an accomplishment to lose that much in a week, if you think about it. :)
Oh, and I completely agree with the comments about 5-6 small meals vs one big one. Your body is built to process what it can at once, then convert the rest to stored fat. So having three big meals actually encourages your body to store more fat because it is used to having to wait for the next big meal, so it tries to store up energy for you to burn later. On the flip side, if you get your body used to eating more, smaller meals, it starts recognizing that it doesn’t have to store as much for you, plus there’s not much to store because you’re eating smaller portions. It’s really the best way to change your eating habits to improve weight loss.

Drink lots of water a day. Dont eat 3meals, Eat 5-6small meals/snacks.. Make sure that the snacks you eat are healthy, like nature valley bars and granola and stuff..And the meals you eat arnt big… Like a small bowl of granola cereal, then a small salad, with no more than a tablespoon of ranch..
We can’t estimate that as we have no idea of your weight now, your height or your metabolism. Anyways I’ve tried doing that a million times and I never end up loosing any weight. Also don’t skip meals, ‘cause I always end passing out. Just make sure you eat 3 meals a day with as many vegetables as possible. Vegetables and fruit have got the most vitamins and minerals in, we need vitamins, salts and minerals in order for our bodies to work. And swapping to water than fizzy drinks etc. may benefit you in weight loss. But if you end up not losing any weight, maybe you don’t need to? Or you could try exercising.
