How do I stop from being stressed out so bad?

I have a very short fuse when it comes to my temper, im very easily provoked, I dont show my emotions a lot, and when I finnaly let them go its usually an explosion or emotions like anger or deppresion or most times just plain a sad burden. I also get very stressed out over things were it seems I wont make it through

whenever I’ve found myself dealing with anger problems a few years ago I used to count to ten and breath in through my nose and out my mouth when I felt the anger build up…it sounds silly but it actually works (maybe because by the time you get to ten you forget what you was angry about lol) but that can work.

or, whenever you’re stressed or going through a depressing time, you could listen to music that you find uplifting…I do that a lot as well depending on my emotions at the time. it can make you feel much better in a short space of time ;-)

another way you could decrease your explosions is actually to talk them out. once I started doing that, I found it was easy for me to feel relaxed because I shared my problems with others who gave me their opinions and made me see my situations in another light that I didn’t consider before. when you bottle them in, it can eat away at you and drive you mad so find a way to positively release them!!

but other ways you could release the stress is through reading, writing (that could be recording your emotions or just doing creative writing generally…whatever helps), going out somewhere, sports maybe..anything that diverts your attention away.

Whenever I get stressed, I take a long, hot shower. After that, I usually sit outside and listen to my ipod, then I go inside, lay down, watch tv and drink warm tea :)
