How do I get out of a weekend away with parents without upsetting?

M parents want me to go away with them for the weekend but I dont want to go. How can I persuade them to let me stay at home as its only 1 night.?

If you don’t want to make them upset just tell them you aren’t feeling well, and would feel better if you just stayed home and rested.

I’m with babbyl, don’t blantly tell them you aren’t going with them because you don’t want to. Fake a temp. and hopefully they won’t change their minds and stay home to take care of you. How old are you though? If they don’t feel comfortable leaving you at home alone they may make you go regardless of how you say you are feeling.
