16 and need out of my house whats a legal way to go about that?

thats tough, because usually emancipation requests from minors who disagree with their parents get turned down. Plus that whole thing may take years and by that time you will be 18. My advice is either to stick it out or to convince your parents that you are better off with your sister. Create an entire plan of enrolling at the high school where she lives, how she will pay to support you, etc. Just make a big stink about it until you get your way. And if you really hate it there, that means by any way possible…

However, if you are being abused, mistreated, whether it be sexually, physically, or mentally. If they are not taking care of you, you need to call your youth and family service number for your state. That will lead you into foster care (until they know about your sister who they will probablly allow to take care of you if she is responsible, has a job, and is 18 or older) Its a good idea to call the state in this case because then you will get psychological, etc. help and your parents will be penalized.

this is pretty general but if you need anymore help let me know! -emma

I know that most people that move out that are under 18, many of them then want to move back in.

I would suggest just waiting until you are 18.

Answer #3

well, I am currently trying to move out too. and if I graduate early, I was told I could, because then I am able to have a full time job and take care of myself and support myself ,

Until then, go camping a lot.
