why the heck is the customer representative suspicious?

so my friend called the international airport to check the status update and wasnt sure about the spelling cause her daughters last name was huge and they were giving her a hard time considering her husband is overseas and she speaks little English they get grumpy and furious like “what is the spelling IS IT an “A OR E” IS this someone else calling for another person. than she said “a” and the lady goes “ GIVE ME A SEC, i am noting here on the system the information you gave me is misleading and it needs to be checked. so i grabbed the phone and i said well, why dont u call the cops and have them send you a pic of the info u need!! and its funny everytime they ask wheres ur husband and she says Yemen they start getting all suspicious.

Honestly, it pisses me off too when I cant understand what someone is saying, if you were there why didnt you help a little more rather than making it worse, it’s not their job to “call the police” because they cant understand what someone is saying, perhaps you couldve relayed the spelling rather than only take the phone to talk nonesense.
