How do you feel about daylight savings time?

Love it? Hate it? Don’t care? I understand the so called “reasons” for it, but I personally don’t like it. It’s tough for people who get up at 4am for work and it’s still daylight til almost ten at night sometimes. Also hard for some folks to get their kids to go to sleep during the summer. I think the clocks should be able to be just left alone and what it is, is what it is. If something needs to be done after dark, light the place up!!!!!

Answer #1

I love it. When we were kids I remember having double daylight saving time so i was still light at 10 pm. Yes it was hard for my parents to get us to sleep, lol.

Answer #5

it bothers me because it makes it so that my hubby and i lose a hour in a day when it happens. like tonight, he has to go into work at 11, and he will lose that hour when we go from 2 to 3 in the morning in a heartbeat.

Answer #9

it’s stupid plain stupid i remember about 5 years ago we didn’t have it. in my work field it just causes problems. why would any one want to make me wake up in the dark right after just started to enjoy the sun up when i opened my eyes. i work construction in the summer when i sun use to be up at 5 am i would get up and leave for work earlier like right bout this time of year i use to go from starting my work day at 8 am to 7 am and do that until the sun no longer rose by 7 am. now i can’t really do it very long it’ll be may before the sun is up before 7 again. it’s a proven fact that your body seem more rested when you wake up after the sun rise. my kids don’t want to wake up in the dark but they are now. a week ago not but to day they do. the idea it saves money is stupid instead of lights getting turned on at night they now get turned on in the morning. and i don’t know any house that doesn’t turn lights on around 8 weather the sun is up or not any ways. totally stupid and i hate every year since we started

Answer #10

It would be nice not having to deal with changing time, but I do enjoy it being lighter longer. It’s not fun getting up in the morning for class when it’s still dark though.

Answer #11

For me, I’ve been getting better shots of the sky(hurr…I’m a photographer don’t judge >:U) Anyways, I like it since I get out of work early enough, I can still hang out with friends while it’s still light out ;3
