What do you think of the new Facebook feature?

What do you think of the new facebook facial recognition feature that names you in a photo even if you’re in the background of a photo taken in public, there’s been criticism of it already with many saying its too far an invasion of privacy

Answer #1

That’s a BAD WORD, anyways I don’t go one thr only FA for me :-)

Answer #2

I don’t even have Facebook. I know right, a teenager without Facebook, she must be crazy! But I don’t see what the big deal is! It’s way too risky to have those sort of things available for everyone to see. And creepy guys get girls they’ve met on Facebook to meet up with them in real life and it doesn’t always end well. Way too much of a privacy issue if you ask me!

Answer #3

Agreed

Answer #4

I don’t use FB either, it was just on the news and I thought I’d ask

Answer #5

I’m finding it rather creepy, to be honest … it’s an invasion of privacy. The problem is, even if you “opt-out” of the tagging option, you still get tagged … it’s just not made public. It will, however, lead to people searches by facial recognition, so even if you’ve been trying to keep your account private from certain people, they’ll still be able to find you with the new feature. There’s a reason I don’t upload too many photos to Facebook.

Answer #6

That is why I only use it for my jhs friends to keep up with them & their kids & some family members! I was never one that added millions of peeps on it. Notice I have no pics…my avatar is good enough…if we are close friends that what emails are used for…sending pics!:P We cant control who will print screen, copy & paste it then post it god knows where… before you know it your face is plastered on some sick twisted ped0phile site! NTY…

Answer #7

AGREED!!!

Answer #8

Answer #9

Answer #10

Answer #11

Answer #12
