Do you think social networks like Facebook should pay it's members for their content?

Consider that Facebook wouldn’t even exist these days if members didn’t use the site to upload images, videos, links, etc., and engage in networking, do you think members deserve a cut of the profits made by Facebook?

no cause if they didn’t use the web site if wouldn’t exist. if it didn’t exist people wouldn’t use it they would go back to other forms of chatting?

Nope. Facebook is a social site and it would also lose money from paying us. Plus people would make one, upload like 2 pictures and get to wait for there paycheck. No one told them they had to put up pictures and info and all that, we do it on our own just like we do here. Facebook is just another form of expression and socializing. Besides that would be MILLIONS of dollars they’d have to send out and the site would go bankrupt. Now maybe if they stopped just trying to get a crap load of money from it with all the adverticements and actully gave some to chairity i’d support that idea.

Nope. It provides a base to connect and socialize. In return, the members upload videos and other content - that too for themselves. Both Facebook and it’s members are dependent on each other, neither of the two should have to pay.

Unfortunately no, on that one. But it would be nice if for no other reason then some show or moral concious they’d find some other means of wealth distribution.
