What do you think of the new app to confess instead of going to the church?
I think this is crazy, why they dont make an app to get married in the iphone that would be cool.
I think this is rather stupid. The act of confession is not one of convenience, it’s one of conviction from guilt and regret, followed by a confession of word by mouth. It’s more of an act of repentance, not a game to be played while on the go.
I think it is dumb becasue if you need to confess something it shouldnt be done on your ipod or phone it is to tell the truth of something you did to feel better.
I like your comment on the marriage app haha. I think it’s a silly idea, I was not aware that god had telecommunications. I think using something that was made possible by modern physics and electronics to be forgiven on a spritual level is just silly in my opinion. It seems to be a convenient way for people to act out their religious ways, and takes away the integrity of the confession.
It makes sense to me….after all, the whole point of confession is to get it off your chest, right?
If the app can do that and keep your anonymity in tact, well, given the recent scandals with the Catholic church I’d think that’s a good thing.
