You should exercise about 3 hours before you go to sleep at the latest to allow you to cool down and relax. You are just in danger of making yourself alert if you exercise too late and your body needs time to relax, which will not happen as easily with an elevated heart rate. Something gentle like yoga should be fine, but anything vigorous should be done a couple of hours before you want to sleep. Have a bath after your exercise if you do so before bed- it will help your muscles feel better and the heat will make you sleepy, as your body naturally cools after a bath, mimicking what your body does when you go to sleep, thus making it easy for you to drop off.
you can, but its much harder to fall asleep, and ur body needs time to recover from the exercise,, so basically its okay, but not recomended
Yes I know after a good workout then a cold shower, I would not want to go to bed and try to sleep. Working out seems to not only wake me up, but I feel if I was to jump in bed I would just lay there and sweat. If I was you I would get up early in the morning and exercise before the start of the day, it will make you feel better during the day, and you will sleep good that night.
