DIY Cartilage Pierce

Take an ibuprofen and tie your hair back. Sterilize everything. (ie. Needles, your hands, jewelry and anything else you’re using. ) You can use an open flame. Hot water and soap for your hands.
Hollow needles are the best. Mark where you want it so you don’t mess up; “measure twice cut once” applies here. I wouldn’t ice it, it’ll numb your fingers as well as your ear and make it harder to pierce the skin.
Do it quickly. It’ll hurt less. Keep the needle in for 5 minutes.
Put the earring (if it’s a gauge) in the hollow part of the needle through the back. This minimizes your risk of tearing the skin or hurting it. Pull it back through.
Keep your hair off of it. Keep it clean. I can’t stress the importance of this. If you can’t get antibacterial solution, buy some sea salt and boil some water with it. (1/4 cup sea salt to 1 cup water.) Do NOT use table salt. Keep your earring in for at least four weeks. Be safe and do six weeks. Be CAREFUL.

I’m not suggesting you do this, but if you can’t get to a professional then this is the next best thing. Don’t hold me responsible for any infections or anything else wrong.

my friend took a safety pin and stuck it through her ear and she pierces her ears all the time she had like 15 at one point or somethin just in her ears

and she pierces her nose and lip all the time.. even her eyebrow before. but she always takes it back out so she dont get in trouble but I don’t know like I let her pierce my ear and personally I thought it hurt. she doesnt think it hurts tho band neither does anyone else that she pierces

but she uses piercing earrings too thats a better idea just make sure you steralize them DONT STOP PUSHING JUST DO IT! if you do it slow youll feel it!!!

but here is like a gift from god right here the answer youve been waitng for you can go to walmart and buy an ear piercing gun my friend just got one=O haha its quick and so much less painful, its what they have at those piercing pagodas at the mall

Depending on your pain tolerance you may want to numb your ear.

Push push push.. It will hurt ten times worse if you stop and then try again..

Once it’s through keep the needle in for a few minutes.( I’m not really sure why but it makes it easier to take it out and put the needle through.. )
