Are there any disadvantages to not getting the chicken pox and is there any specific reason I haven't gotten it?

It is possible for someone to never get the chicken pox, but its rare for that to happen. I have never gotten the chicken pox before, and I really don’t think it’s going to be hazardous to my health. You can die from it if your old, but if you have never gotten it before you may never get.

If you dont get chicken pox as a child, you could get something called shingles, which is very, very painful, as an adult. That’s why when one kid gets chicken pox the mother usually calls up all her friends who are parents and they have a chicken pox “party”.
