Dick Cheneys daughter?

I always wondered… If Dick Cheneys daughter is lesbian, and Bush was against Lesbians marrying, than was that an insult to Cheney? Or was he all for it too?

Then why is he part of a political party that has been absolutely hateful to gays? Not only do they undermine gay rights but they have been horribly outspoken about them being against God, going to hell, etc etc…

He disagreed with Bush on redefining marriage as one between heterosexuals. He says the individual states should have the right to define it on their own terms. I don’t know if he’d say that he was insulted.

Perhaps, as the father of a lesbian daughter, his understanding of gays run deeper…No matter how you cut it, the adage “Blood’s thicker than water”, runs true…”Blood” is family…”Water”, is EVERYTHING else…

If he were making only a political statement, he’d have agreed in public and kept his personal thoughts to himself…he was being a supportive dad, because he is…and said so.

Oh he has to play the good father and publicly disagree, however, he belongs to a party that is against gay and lesbian rights… he choses to be in that party… if he really had an issue with it, he would leave…
