Bulk-Up?
I would really like to bulk up I lift, push ups, situps, etc… but just cant seem to get much bigger… stronger but not bigger… ‘check out the pic I need more bulk not normal muscle’
alright bro, I’ve been lifting for 10 years, martial arts for almost 11, and through that time what I’ve learned about bulk, is you gotta eat at least 6 times a day and stick to it, or you could try whey gainer. I don’t recommend supplements for bulk though just toning. In the morning try egg whits with toast (not too much toast though). then half way through the morning have a snack (carrots, celery, anything pretty much), for lunch eat a protein shake along with about 2 chicken wraps (oven cooked, not fried). have another snack halfway to dinner, for dinner rice with egg whits is always good, with some chicken and vegetarian pasta. then a snack before bed (something not too too heavy) gotta be careful how much you let sit over night. personally I lift once early in the morning, and again in the afternoon, then I train jujitsu at 8 tues, wed, and thurs. also stay away from cardio exercises, try and do more power lifting, lift for most weight no reps. hope I helped a little…
everything they said plus have a bigger calorie intake (eat more) but make sure its not junk food. I did everything these people said and it helps. also doing push ups and sit ups a lot arent going to cut it. it builds lean muscle, you need to weighted workouts to get bigger.
try protein like muslce milk…you can get it at any gnc(riteaid) ( I like the granola bars any of the products will work) if you take it you have to wokrout 3 or 4 times a week for like 30mins resting in between if you don’t work out you will put on cheesburger fat and you muslces cuts will fade but if you do workout normally you should be okay and you’ll see results in as little as two weeks all make sure you drink a lot of milk and water and eat all of meat(protein)
Eggs are a good source of protein, but not so good for cholestral and sodium. Try buying a carton of egg whites instead, or you could mix an egg with the egg whites if you need to. Protein difference is very minimal, but there are more health benefits to eating eggs whites. Try mixing in veggies, spinach is excellent for you!!
eggs!!! my boyfriend has the same problem but the fact is eggs have more protein in them for a cheaper price. so if you wana bulk up eat lots of that and steak mmm yum
Eat more protein. Whether it comes from your food, or in the form of protein shakes. Try to use 100% Whey protein, there are soy proteins out there, but I’ve heard more good things about whey. Not hard to find, Walmart sales it. Chocolate it good! Just mix it with milk and there you go. But use skim milk. Drink within 45 minutes after your workout. Make sure you let your muscles rest though. It’s really important not to work the same muscle groups everyday. When we life weights, or do crunches, etc. we are breaking down our muscle, and it is in the healing process that they grow bigger, stronger. If you continually keep breaking down the same muscles every day, you won’t see any growth. You must have rest days. If you like to workout every day, then just alternate muscles groups. Maybe arm, shoulders, abs one day, the next do chest, back and thighs. Just mix it up!!
