Bible pretty much not much of a believer of god

Awww honey… (((hugs))) We don’t hate you… ever. If we did, then, we would be crossways with our God. It is not our job to “hate” you. The world does that, all by itself.

The body of Christ, is to love. You.

And everyone around us. We do not have permission, to do otherwise, if we do, we are placing ourselves in line, for judgement.

Once the church decides that God does still judge.. his people… then, the fear of God, ( reverence for) will return, to the house of God, and when this happens, the world will no longer mock. God. They too, will once again, learn to respect him. And I long for this day.

The presence of God, is a consuming fire, and it has been absent for way too long.

God is however, stepping up to the bat.

Things are beginning to change.

Everyone can tell that something is up.

Even if they do not yet, understand what it is.

You paste this same paragraph everywhere anyone asks any question about religion, and it doesn’t even make any sense. Are you saying god is incapable of “looking upon sin”? Isn’t he omnipotent? Surely he can look upon sin if he feels like it?

If god loves everyone so much why would he send a good person to hell just because they didn’t believe in him? That seems kind of wrong.

I think people should just let other people believe in what THEY want. I mean it’s there life.

I myself, believe in god. I don’t see any reason not too. But I don’t disown people that don’t. And I really don’t care if they do or not. You shouldn’t judge people on something they believe.

As long as you have a good explanation in what you believe, than it’s fine with me!

I don’t agree with you. I believe in a god and the bible. but it’s totally your right not to. thanks to the country we live in, it’s you’re choice whether you worship anything at all. so I say, use that free will.

curiousity15: being a fellow christian, let me say this: it’s not ok to judge people or their beliefs. it’s not ok to condemn them to hell, that’s not your right. you have no authority to do so. share your beliefs, don’t badger people with them. show people your enthusiasm and dedication to your faith.

First of all, no matter if we believe in god or not, we can all still be polite and civil to each other. We are all people and deserve love and respect. kmart-I think you are very wise. It is important to think using logic. I suggest you read some books by Richard Dawkins. He is a British scientist and prominent atheist. He is incredibly smart and has a lot of great things to say that I think you will really agree with and get a kick out of. I have read a few of his books and they have all been wonderful. I will say, kmart, I do agree with you 100%. Religion is something to use as a survival and coping mechanism, something to bring comfort and many more things that I won’t mention here but I’m sure you can think of them. I used to be like you and this is what I discovered reading the Bible: God being pure cannot even look upon sin - man, even in his very best state is a sinner - on judgement day, either: your sins are covered by the blood-shed sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross (salvation and only salvation - being a nice person isn’t good enough - even at our very best, we are but filthy rags), and remembered no more or they are not (your sins are not covered) - where God’s great love comes into play is, He provided a WAY (Jesus) for us not to perish and live in Heaven with Him (He certainly didn’t have to do this but did because He loved us so) - if you read carefully John 3:16, this is exactly what it says - each person will either accept or reject, you must decide for yourself and yes, it’s so important, it has eternal consequences - He Loves you and wants you to accept God’s free gift to man - Jesus - ‘if you are a truth seeker, then you will find Jesus’ - Seek Jesus while He can still be found for it won’t be long now and the four winds will be let go and our world will be in unimaginable turmoil. Soon the door will be shut and destiny will be decided for all…all you have to do is ask Him to come into your heart…hope this helps you !
