Best tips to learn how to do a backhand spring?

Ok so I’m going to tryout for cheerleading this upcoming school year. And I want to learn how to do my backhand spring so whats the best tips for that? Also I need to build muscle in my legs so whats the best way in doing that?

try it on a trampoline dats how I learned now I know how 2 jump of things backwards & land on my feet takes a sh!t load of practice =]
