What are your best tips for dieting and losing weight?

I smoked pot for about 2 years straight.”Munchies” Put me 30 pounds heavier,and so much more depressed with myself. How can I lose it all,In the quickest,but safest way possible? I dont want to hear about diet pills,or crazy diets where Ill starve myself. I want somehitng that works.Where I can still eat,but not over eat.

Remember,I go to school,so what are some good foods or tips I can use at school,for shcool lunches?

try fruits as alternative snacks. drink water. cut out soda [that has fast results suprisingly]. stay active. boredom leaves you thinking about what to eat. no substitute for exercise, definately. try to stay away from canned foods. lean chicken breasts are good as meat. um, cut out bleached things perhaps. [brown rice instead of white] and vegetables in the plate lol. damn that’s a lot isn’t it. =`| lol

My best tip is to know when your full - a lot of people eat past that point because their food is very tasty. So eat slowly and be able to stop when your hunger is over - plus quite often people mistake being thirsty for being hungry. So instead of going for junky snacks every half hour… so have a big cup of water and you wont feel hungry anymore.

what I did, is completley stop drinking pop… cut down on bread. you cana eat almost anything. but no pop. (my mum says a little treat once a week is no biggie)

at school,just look for anythng that doesnt look like its dripping in grease. I always get nachos… everyday… ull find somthing you like and ull stick to it, if your serious about losing the weight.
