Is it stupid to want a baby when I'm 15?

I think if its something you really want to pursue than you need to come up with a plan and work on it for a while…make sure that the father is whilling to come up with enough money and make sure yall both have a good job and are happy with each other. That’s when you’ll no your ready

You should most definetly get a plant. If the plant lives a years, get a dog. If the dog lives long enough to see you graduate, get married. If your husband makes it throught the “terrible twos” of marriage, TALK about having a baby. If he would make a poor father, you shouldnt have married him in the first place! Anyways… start with a plant and then a dog. If they live, then reconsider a baby.

I dont think that you are stupid for wnating a baby at 15. It should show you that you are lacking somthing in your life where you would need to have a baby. I am 17 and I am wanting and trying to have a baby. so no I dont think its stupid. I got pregnant at 15. I had an abortion and I wish I never did. so my answer is no.

im 15 and for about a year have just been so sad and felt like there was no reason for me being here. I live the same day everyday. my best mate had a baby and whenever im with her I feel like im worth somethin, maybe this is what your feelin. I want a baby but only when I’ve finished my exams. I think I ready and want nothing but a child howevre my parents will disown me and never speak to me again, its a hard decision but if it s what you rele want speak to your parents and go 4 it. I know how it feels.

Children always want babies because they are so cute and cuddly, but they don’t think things all the way through. I am a mother of 2 at age 26. I had my first at 17 and the second at 26, and it is very hard.

I love my children to death, but if I could do it all over again I would wait. Chances are you are still in school, living at home, and no job. I would suggest becoming more independent before taking on this much responsibility.

Having children = very expensive, very little free time, major responsibilities.

It’s not uncommon to want one, but you will need to have an education and a way to support a baby without just leaving it up to your parents. Raising children is hard, tiring, and time consuming. By far it’s best to have two parents in a loving stable relationship. Early to mid twenties.

I would suggest a puppy from the local ASPCA or pound. A puppy will give you unconditional love and you will gain a sense of responsibility that you will use as you raise your own family.

I dont think its stupid, but the most important thing to remember is that this baby is your full responsibility, you have to be able to purchase all the supplies he/she would need, have all your time devoted to your baby. This means no more clubbing, no more going out with friends, you should really think this through. But if you feel like you are ready and you are sure that you can take care of your baby(not your mom or your gramma or someone else in your family) Then go for it! Good luck!

No, it isn’t stupid to want a baby. It isn’t even stupid necessarily to have one at that age, but it would be a HUGE deal! It probably has something to do with wanting to grow up and have the ideal life you see, but don’t have a baby before you’ve even gone through high school! Save that for later when you have a husband and a stable home for the child to grow up in. High school pregnancies may turn out just fine, but your life will never be the same.

Wanting a baby is perfectly natural; it’s one of the things that has kept the species alive. Baby’s are a real blessing, but there are some things you should really consider.

If you have a baby, you will be responsible for that child’s well-being every day for the next 18 years, and to some extent, the rest of your life. Between childcare, medical bills, food, and transportation, he/she will cost a ridiculous amount of money.

A mothers love is one of the most powerful things on the planet, but realize that it means a lot of suffering too. Do yourself a favor and find a job where you learn what a dollar is really worth, and what suffering might mean.
